FINDING MY MUSE- Things I love to do.




It’s until you’re on a sweet romantic date or at an interview and you’re asked “So, what do you love to do, asides work?” you won’t realize how good you are at stammering.

I’ve been asked this a couple of times and each time, I just can’t give a tangible answer, up until two weeks ago when a senior colleague threw the question at me again! A good reason why we are being caught in this spider web is because half the time, we are trying to sound fun, professional, cute or not to sound basic so it just clogs whatever we’re going to say.  So I decided to draw up a list of things I genuinely love to do, without filtering or trying to impress anyone.

1)      Hanging out- Especially with family or close friends.

2)      Eating out - With bae, primarily because I aint gotta pay! I also like it when my girls and I eat out.



3)      GOING TO THE MOVIES- With bae too, there’s just something abourrit!

4)      Reading- Anything new and novels. I love romantic-comic-fictions and chick-lit books.

5)      I love going on road trips because I’m just gonna read a good book or meditate on different genres of music, (with my ears plugged) maybe talk to a stranger; if they are fancy. I might also take some pictures if my phone’s camera is impressive (cos I don’t own a camera) otherwise I’ll just enjoy the view with my eyes and store it in my image bank. (upstairs)

6)      I love talking- like gisting with my sisters and close friends. We operate a close-knit circle and have got pretty cool inside jokes. Our sense of humor scales up to a thousand or at least that’s what I think!



7)      I love doing chores- on days when I’m home all-day of course.

8)      I love my comfort and my bed gives me a lot of that. Being tucked away in bed, with a good book in one hand and my mobile in the other is blissful but the ratio at which I’ll do the two activities (phone and book) would be; read 2 emails, spend 2mins on Twitter, 5mins on Instagram, 3mins on Facebook, 8mins on Snapchat, to half pager of the book! (LOL)



9)      From my number 8 you can tell that I love social media, love to spot and be on top of trends.

10)   And oh! how can I almost forget; I love loud music (not in the workplace please) and love to dance as well. I get fired up by the latter.




Since this is getting interesting, I also thought I should write down a few things I would love to do;

1)      Go Hiking- no place in mind, but somewhere mind-blowing.

2)      Travel to places of the world with historical, ancient buildings like Dubai, Istanbul e.t.c.

3)      Touring and sightseeing the world, taking fancy pictures of exotic my trips to post on my I.G of cos!

I’m sure someone was looking to read that I love to write! Well sorry to dash your hopes, writing is one of my biggest fears as I love to and hate to write as well. So my darlings, you too can pick up a pen and write down the things you love to do, in that way it comes off natural and you’ll be amazed at how fun they really are.

BIENVENUE!!!

Bienvenue mon-amie!!! If you don't speak French, it means "Welcome my friend"..to my mind! (NOT blog) Yikes! Okay its been a long-time coming, like absolutely. I've been planning (for quite sometime now) to do something like this but I wasn't totally sure what I wanted it to be like. I think a lot.. errr.. not sure that came out well😂 (I meant to say that) my mind is always pre-occupied. When I was a girl, I used to daydream a lot..like a whole lot; about pixies and gnomes, haunted homes and wishing chairs, fairies and god-mothers (blame it on Enid Blyton😓) and sometimes, what my life would be like when I'm rich and famous or become Miss Universe. I would literally read a book and reminisce on it for like one week straight and on some occasions, if the book didn't end as I wanted it to, I'll give it a befitting ending by myself! But the problem is this; I wont just give it one ending, I'll propose nothing less than 5 different endin...
